Meet the Teacher
Thank you for visiting our classroom website!
My name is Kayla LaBeaume and I am thrilled to be teaching second grade at Valley Park Elementary! During my time at Valley Park, I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and now second.
Second grade is an exciting time to learn, explore, create lasting friendships, and establish the life-long love of learning.
I attended Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. During my time at Lindenwood, I had the joy of student teaching at Valley Park Elementary. In May of 2011, I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and certification in Early Childhood. I completed my Master's in May of 2013 with Reading Certification.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family. I love going to sporting events, especially Cardinal games. I consider myself a continuous learner. When I am not at school or spending time with my family and friends, I am researching different techniques and ideas that will meet the interests, learning styles, and needs of my students.
I look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you! I can guarantee we will have a fabulous year!
